Nepal, which is enriched
with lots of natural explored and unexplored natural resources such as various
types of forests, rivers, mountain peaks, minerals, fauna and flora, boasts of
bearing 8 out 10 highest mountain peaks
in the world above sea surface.
Although Nepal is a small country occupying 1,47,181 sq. km. area (about 0.3% and
0.03% land of Asia and the world respectively), its Himalayan region is endowed with 8 eight-thousanders (mountain
peaks above 8000m. of altitude) out of
just 14 throughout the world.
