At the starting of this undeclared blockage to Nepal, India had been claiming reason of insecurities in Nepal but now, it is clearly said by their own leader, Bijay Jolly (BJP) that blockade is due to their anger on Nepalese as they burnt Modi's dummy. Modi's dummy was burnt as India was interfering in Nepal Constitution 2072.
Bijaya Jolly said " Modi gave 1000 crore to Nepal but Nepalese burnt his dummy and they asking for petroleum now ? "
Meanwhile, a Nepali facebook user posted :
"Remember India, Nepal have given you more than 1000 crore profit in your economy and you blocked us !
India, Just because we failed to tackle you back in 2045 B.S., we won't let you rule on us TODAY coz now we are stronger and wise than your stinky politics and politicians !"
And as a matter of fact, Indian governoment gave 1000 crore as loan not as donation.
